Ancient Dráva Visitor Centre in Szaporca
By walking along the study trail on the Dráva’s wildlife with professional tour guides, visitors are offered an insight into the unique fauna and flora of the Dráva and its floodplain: from the colourful and varied wildlife of the forests through the swamps to the riverbanks. The visitors have a chance to acquire a wide range of information about the Dráva’s former and present hydrographical status. If demand arises, there is a possibility for a classic Hungarian barbecue from ingredients brought near Kisinci.

Venue: Ancient Dráva Visitor Centre
Time: 10.00 am
Distance and duration: 7-9 km, 5 hours
Entrance fee: 500 HUF/person
Travel to venue: to be sorted out individually
After the programme there is an opportunity to visit the exhibition of the Ancient Dráva Visitor Centre, the Study trail on Traditional Farming Methods and the Display Area presenting old Hungarian domestic animals, where the 500 HUF/person entry fee applies for each section.

It is most important to wear appropriate clothing as well as providing protection against mosquitoes and ticks.
The programme is conducted by a member of the Nature Protection Watch of the Danube-Dráva National Park Directorate (DDNPD).
Participation is at your own risk. The participants note that both photo and video images may get recorded during the visit. By participating, visitors give their consent to uploading such recordings onto the website of the DDNPD and Facebook as well as to the marketing and communication materials issued by DDNPD in perpetuity.
