In 2020, out of six schools, which provide secondary education on water management in the country, 32 students entered for the competition in the field of water management technician.

The Central-Tisza-Rural Water Directorate Management (KÖTIVIZIG) is hosting a 12-member croatian delegation for exchange of flood's experiences
According to the decision of the autumn meeting of the Permanent Hungarian-Croatian Water Management Committee, the hungarian experts invited their croatian colleagues to study the Tisza flooding reservoirs and to provide them with operational experiences related to them.
On the first day of flood experience, on 22 May, our southern neighbors listened to lectures. Among others, they were informed by Mr. Attila Lovas, director of KÖTIVIZIG, and today they visited reservoirs with their hosts. The program was attended by Mr. Péter Kovács, Hungarian Government of the Permanent Hungarian-Croatian Water Management Committee and Mrs.Ida Nagy Sós, hungarian technical secretary of the committee, and Mr. Attila Lovas (KÖTIVIZIG), Mr. Lajos Horváth  technical director (KÖTIVIZIG), Mr. János Pecze technical director (DDVIZIG), Mr. Sándor Troszt section engineer (DDVIZIG) and Mr. Lőrinc Fejes section engineer of Kisköre (KÖTIVIZIG). Some of the croatian experts are the leaders of the Croatian Waterworks Management Institute of Zagreb, Eszék and Varasd, and others are the staff.
