Events ArchiveThe South-Transdanubian Water Management Directorate has installed webcams: one mobile and four fixed webcams. The fixed webcams are located at the bridge in Barcs, at the bridge in Drávaszabolcs, at the ferry port in Mohács and in the Directorates’ premises in Barcs. The webcams can be set by remote control, and the pictures recorded can be seen at www.ddvizig.hu as well as on the computer monitors in the office building of the Directorate. Utilizing the webcam recordings, the continuous monitoring of ice drift, the quantity of the sediment and the floating debris are being carried out. Furthermore, calculations are made to get the percentage of the ice or debris cover of the river.
