Events ArchiveFrom the year of 2015 accredited sampling working groups responsible for water quality measurement were established at every water management directorate, which didn’t have a laboratory before. The accreditation of the units covers the sampling of surface water, wastewater and on-site measurement of their physical and general chemical parameters. The Sampling Working Group of the South-Transdanubian Water Management Directorate (DDVIZIG) consists of 8 members; their centrally appointed heads are the Assistant Engineering Director of each directorate.
In order to fulfil and perform its tasks and functions, both professional managers and quality managers are qualified as “internal auditors and quality management managers”.
On 24 August 2016, the Working Group, as a “sampling organization”, received the accredited status of the National Accreditation Authority (NAH) for on-site testing and sampling activities according to the MSZ EN ISO / IEC 17025: 2005 standard. Accreditation document number: NAH-7-0064 / 2016.
The operation of the Working Group is regulated by the quality management manual, which involves eighteen quality management procedures, four work instructions; and is applied with the use of thirty-seven forms.
The samples are tested by the Water Protection Laboratory of the Department for Water Protection and Watershed Management of the West-Transdanubian Water Management Directorate, the Testing Laboratory of Mecsekérc Zrt. Environmental Protection Directorate and the laboratory of the Baranya County Government Office on the basis of cooperation agreements concluded with them.
The operation of the Sampling Working Group greatly contributes to the professional work of our Directorate as it provides technical assistance for prevention activities, which tackle incidental water quality damage; besides it supports the operation and performance of tasks on a day-to-day basis with significantly useful samples of on-site measurements.
The Team of the Sampling Working Group performs a permanent 24-hour standby on-call work.
